Complete Mosquito Treatment
When you think of pests in Tucson, mosquitoes don’t typically come to mind immediately. Despite that, they are universally hated by humans and are known carriers of very dangerous diseases. Results Pest and Termite has begun implementing mosquito treatments specifically because if it were our family, we would want to protect them while they play in their own back yards as well. Thus far, we have not had a big push in local Tucson pest control to address the mosquito problem. We aim to fix that and start helping local residents get their yard back!
Treatment
Instead of attempting to spray chemicals all over your yard and into your bushes, our combination of treatment options including fogging and spraying, is the proven treatment that ensures you get mosquitoes in every nook and cranny throughout the yard. This effective method of both treating and preventing mosquitoes in your immediate area is effective and thorough.
This treatment is available as a stand alone treatment. Or we can include it in our ongoing pest management services that we provide to give your home, and your backyard, protection against not only the irritation of mosquitoes but improve the health and safety of your family.
Why is Mosquito Control Important?
Mosquitoes are prolific carriers of diseases such as West Nile Virus. This virus is in the family Flaviviridae, which also contains the Zika virus, dengue virus, and yellow fever virus. Its primary delivery agent is the mosquitoes, responsible for over 2,500 cases in 2018 reported by the CDC.
Disease Carriers
Mosquitoes also carry other diseases such as Zika and Dengue fever.
Additionally, West Nile currently has no vaccine or method of mitigation beyond bearing through the symptoms. Because of this, the Arizona Department of Health Services recommends avoiding bites from mosquitoes by wearing protective clothing or using safe EPA approved repellent.
The most active time for West Nile cases to show up are between May and October, which is also peak activity for mosquitoes in Arizona.
