Treatments for household insects both inside and outside are designed to be applied in pretty low concentrations usually under 1%. They’re very effective for killing insects but pose very low risk to people or pets.
That said, any chemical treatment applied to your home should be avoided until dry and aerated. Once dry and aerated, they are relatively harmless and should not adversely affect anyone that comes in contact with them except for the pests they’re designed to eliminate. As dry as the Tucson climate is, these pesticides often dry within minutes outside and can dry in a reasonable period indoors.
